about us
New Town Triptych are an acoustic band based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Formed in November 2009, they have spent time developing and defining their music, playing local venues, and headlining gigs at both the Recital Room at the City Halls, and then The Cottier Theatre as part of the West End Festival.
Their debut single “Just How You Designed” was released in February 2011, their second offering "Climb/Don't Want To Hear It" (which includes bonus cover track "Wagon Wheel") was released on 23rd June 2011. Both of these releases are available through all good online retailers.
Their new single "Never Again/Simple" was released on 20th January 2012, available through Bandcamp only, allowing the band to offer this to you for free (to the first 200 people!). After this, fans will be able to simply name their price to own their copy.
"...one of the most exciting, new Scottish bands around."
